Chase's growth as a player has been shaped not only by competing at a high level, but by learning how to study the game with more clarity through video review. Alongside breaking down his own shifts, analyzing higher-level NHL clips helped him better understand how strong players manage details like timing, positioning, reads, and decisions under pressure. That process helped him continue developing through academy hockey, junior hockey, and now at the university level.

His mission with InSync Hockey is to help players of all ages keep progressing by building better habits, stronger hockey IQ, greater confidence, and a clearer understanding of their own game — improvements that carry into the next shift, next game, and next level.

Ryan Helliwell

Ryan's hockey journey began at the renowned Burnaby Winter Club program, where he developed from minor hockey all the way through U18 before earning a full ride scholarship to the University of Notre Dame — a path that reflects the progression many young players strive toward today. His development through one of the top programs in Canada helped build the foundation for the high end hockey IQ that continues to define his game.

Ryan's experience at the prestigious Notre Dame program shaped his disciplined and intelligent style of play, where consistent habits, stronger reads, and hockey IQ were emphasized every day. Through extensive video analysis and detailed breakdowns of game situations, Ryan learned how to better process the game, recognize patterns, and understand the small details that separate high-level players. Currently playing in the ECHL with the Adirondack Thunder, Ryan brings a high level of professional experience and insight to his development approach.

At InSync Hockey, Ryan's focus is on helping players better understand the game, build confidence in their reads, and develop habits that translate directly onto the ice. His goal is to make the game feel clearer, slower, and more manageable for players looking to continue improving and reach the next level.

Riley Wallack

Elite development. Helping players think the game better.

Riley's hockey journey began in Semiahmoo Minor Hockey before advancing to Delta Hockey Academy, where he developed against top competition while building the habits, awareness, and hockey IQ required to succeed at higher levels of the game. His path then led him to the BCHL, eventually earning an NCAA Division 1 scholarship to Long Island University.

Competing through junior hockey and over 100 games at the NCAA Division 1 level gave Riley firsthand experience in the details that separate high-level players — composure under pressure, quicker reads, consistent habits, and the ability to make high end decisions in fast-paced situations. Through years of video review and elite competition, he developed a deeper understanding of how strong players process the game and create advantages shift after shift.

At InSync Hockey, Riley focuses on helping players better understand their game through detailed video breakdown and honest feedback. His goal is to help players improve their hockey IQ, confidence, positioning, and decision-making so the game feels clearer, slower, and more manageable in every situation.
